At this briefing, we will share how Local Progress members can take action relating to the Janus v. ASFCME Council 31 case, as well as policy and other ideas to support building power for working people. Any day now, the Supreme Court will decide on the case Janus v. ASFCME, which could deal another blow to our democracy and the ability of working people to organize for dignified work and a fair economy. But Local Progress members have not been waiting around for the decision. They are hard at work supporting strong unions and the freedom to organize for power in numbers. To reverse record inequality and deep assaults on our democracy, we need to rebuild the power of working people and unions.
